Cœur D'Artichaut –
Kitchen with heart, soul and attitude

At Cœur D'Artichaut we celebrate the joy of food and togetherness.
Our kitchen combines creativity with the comfort of a living room – honest, passionate, and characterized by the finest products.
Tradition and modernity go hand in hand with us. We cook regionally and cosmopolitan, seasonally and fermented, fresh and aged – with dedication, curiosity, and a great deal of passion.
Breton influences meet Westphalian ingredients and Creole spices, creating a menu full of character that surprises, touches, and continually inspires.
Please inform us before your visit if there is something you cannot or do not want to eat.
We're happy to tailor our menu to your needs—whether it's vegetarian, gluten-free, pregnancy-friendly, or without certain types of meat or fish. Almost anything is possible, as long as we're allowed to plan ahead.
However, in keeping with the spirit of French cuisine, we do not forgo its three secrets – butter, butter and butter – and therefore do not offer any vegan dishes.
In our kitchen, we use fish, meat, and seafood, various types of nuts, and products containing gluten; therefore, traces cannot be completely ruled out. Unfortunately, spontaneous changes cannot always be implemented with the usual level of quality.
Out of consideration for our open kitchen, dogs and other animals are not allowed.
When the weather is nice, we will of course serve on our terrace – your table will automatically be prepared for you there.
To ensure a smooth process and a harmonious experience for all guests, we serve a standard menu for groups of eight or more people – happily tailored to your wishes.
Instead of an à la carte selection, we serve a menu that is entirely dedicated to the seasons and the products.
Choose between four courses (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays – except on holidays, only by reservation) and six or eight courses.
Every month a new menu is created – always with the same idea: to get the best out of every product.
Since April 2023, just three and a half years after opening, we have been awarded two coveted Michelin stars. One of three in North Rhine-Westphalia! What an honor.
